Dave Balter – Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer
Dave Balter is a serial entrepreneur and fintech strategist with over two decades of experience building data-driven financial platforms. As the founder and CEO of LUMARI Exchange, he leads the company’s global strategy, product innovation, and regulatory engagement.
Prior to LUMARI Exchange, Dave founded Flipside Crypto, a blockchain analytics firm backed by Coinbase Ventures and True Ventures. He also served as Managing Director at Bain Capital Ventures, where he advised on emerging technologies and digital infrastructure.
Dave’s leadership style blends analytical rigor with emotional intelligence, fostering a culture of transparency, curiosity, and long-term thinking. He is a frequent speaker at MIT, Consensus, and the World Economic Forum, and has been featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal.
He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and serves on the advisory boards of several blockchain foundations and philanthropic initiatives.
Elena Park is a blockchain infrastructure architect with over 15 years of experience in distributed systems and fintech engineering. Before co-founding LUMARI Exchange, she led protocol development at Circle and contributed to the early architecture of USDC.
At LUMARI, Elena oversees platform scalability, smart contract security, and the development of LUMARI Chain. Her leadership has enabled the company to maintain 99.99% uptime, execute over $100B in trades, and launch tokenized asset frameworks that meet institutional standards.
Elena holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Stanford and is a frequent contributor to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) and open-source governance forums.
Jared Liu – Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer
Jared Liu brings a decade of experience in capital markets, compliance, and operational strategy. Prior to LUMARI Exchange, he served as Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he led digital transformation initiatives in the M&A division.
At LUMARI, Jared leads global operations, regulatory strategy, and institutional onboarding. He was instrumental in securing LUMARI’s FinCEN registration, MAS exemption, and MiCA compliance, positioning the company as a trusted partner for sovereign funds and fintechs.
Jared earned his MBA from Wharton and serves on advisory boards for digital asset policy in the U.S. and Singapore.

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of data and finance. From building Flipside Crypto to advising Fortune 500s on innovation, I’ve learned that transparency and trust are the cornerstones of any lasting financial system.
